“The internship program at the USL was hugely beneficial in kicking off my career in the soccer industry as it allowed me to work in multiple departments and discover my strongest skill-set. The internship exposed me mainly to the operations part of events, but also allowed me to gain experience in the marketing, digital, video and social media side of the industry. This helped me find my area of expertise. As a young professional in the sports industry I feel that the amount of responsibility and impact I have at the USL would be very hard to obtain anywhere else. We are lucky to be working in soccer at a time where it is experiencing so much growth as a part of a worldwide movement. Being able to have a direct impact on growing the game in the United States is definitely exciting.”
