Scores twice as Orlando claims 3-2 victory

Midfielder Kevin Molino scored twice on Tuesday night as Orlando City defeated the FC Dallas Reserves 3-2 at Toyota Park. The win against the Dallas reserves continued Orlando City’s undefeated run in USL PRO this season as the Lions moved back into first place in the league standings.

Top Named Player of the Week

USL PRO named its Team of the Week for Week 5 of the 2014 season on Tuesday as Arizona United SC forward Jonathan Top was named Player of the Week as he scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win against Sacramento Republic FC. The victory was United’s first win in club history.

Tucson Announces Five Returnees

Today, FC Tucson announced the signing of five more players from last season's squad: midfielders Connor Brandt and Eli Galbraith-Knapp; defenders Ryan Felix and Tim Harbison; and goalkeeper Dallas Jaye. "All of these players were integral parts of our 2013 campaign," said FC Tucson General Manager Jon Pearlman. "The talent and experience that returns with them will be vital to our success in 2014."

Gomez Returns To Highlanders

Victoria Highlanders FC are excited to announce the signing of 27-year-old midfielder Manny Gomez. The 5-foot-9 product of Argentina grew up playing soccer in Victoria before leaving the country to play internationally at the age of 15. Gomez’s experience includes being a member of the 2013 Canadian National Team roster. Gomez has also been a member of Canada’s U-15, U-17 and U-20 squads.

Blues Sign UCLA Standout Taylor Smith

The LA Blues are excited to announce the addition of Taylor Smith to the roster for the 2014 W-League season. The speedy forward had a standout season at UCLA that ended with the NCAA championship in 2013.
