PITTSBURGH -- First National Bank of Pennsylvania signed an agreement with Highmark Stadium last week for a sponsorship at Pittsburgh’s newest downtown multi-sport and entertainment venue.

“First National Bank has been instrumental in the establishment of Highmark Stadium,” said Jason Kutney, CEO of the Riverhounds. “Like Highmark, Trib Total Media, and #1 Cochran, we have found an excellent partner in First National Bank.”

The First National Bank Hot Air Balloon, a reincarnation of the former Parkvale Balloon, will be a unique feature of First National Bank’s sponsorship of Highmark Stadium. Patrons visiting the stadium, as well as traffic passing through the area surrounding Station Square, will see the First National Bank Hot Air Balloon on a regular basis, whether in flight or tethered in the vicinity of the stadium.

First National Bank’s involvement with Highmark Stadium goes beyond its sponsorship. In June, First National Bank approved a $1.6 million loan, which is being used for construction costs.
