The Austin Aztex captured the season series with the City Stars with a 1-0 win in Cleveland Friday night... In USL-2, the Harrisburg City Islanders downed visiting Crystal Palace Baltimore 3-1 in the lone contest.

In the PDL Friday night, the Nashville Metros played the division leading Bradenton Academics to a 2-2 draw and the Seattle Wolves were in a 3-3 thriller against the visiting Victoria Highlanders. Laredo jumped to the division lead in the Mid South with a 4-0 win in Austin over second place Aztex.

W-League action on Friday included a number of blowout performances as Minnesota clubbed Kalamazoo 6-0, FC Indiana rolled over Cleveland 4-0 and Tampa Bay cruised to a 4-0 win over Richmond. In the west, Real Colorado played to a scoreless draw in Seattle.

On Thursday, the Pittsburgh Riverhounds were 2-1 winners in the Atlantic over the Bermuda Hogges as the Charlotte Eagles picked up a critical 3-2 victory in Wilmington against the Hammerheads... In the PDL, Thunder Bay blanked Kansas City 3-0 on the road and Ocean City blasted Newark 5-1.

On Wednesday, Hudson Valley downed New Jersey 3-0 and Pali won 3-2 at Los Angeles in the W-League... Brooklyn blanked New Jersey 4-0 in PDL action.

On Tuesday, Kitsap moved to the top of the division with a 2-0 win over Seattle.

In friendly action this week, Carolina downed Panama 1-0 Tuesday with Montreal playing to a scoreless draw against Haiti Wednesday. On Thursday, Portland downed Bayern Munich's reserves 2-0. In an inter-league contest Friday, Carolina downed Wilmington 3-0.
