TAMPA, FL – United Soccer Leagues announced that Mark Duggan, the President of Umbro – The Americas, has joined the Board of Directors for USL (USISL, Inc.).
Duggan is a veteran of Nike with over 27 years of experience that includes leadership, marketplace management, and the ability to build relationships with consumers and retailers across the sports industry. His most recent role was as Chief Executive Officer of Nike Bauer Hockey (NBH), where he was instrumental in leading the team to record revenues and profit as the leading company in the hockey equipment industry. In addition, his Nike experience in Latin America included launching innovative soccer concepts and provided Duggan with a deep understanding of world football.

I am very impressed with the history, direction and what the future holds for USL,” said Duggan during his recent visit to the league headquarters in Tampa. “I look forward to overseeing the further integration of USL and Umbro – The Americas as part of Umbro’s blueprint for expansion in the Americas.”
Prior to his time with NBH, he held a variety of roles, including Commercial Director Americas / GM Partners region, Director Global Sales, Director US Sales, Director Global Sales Training and US Regional Sales Management.
The USL Board of Directors currently consists of USL founder and President Francisco Marcos, USL Executive Vice President and COO Tim Holt, Umbro International Ltd Senior Vice President of Football Martin Prothero (chairman) and Umbro International Ltd Group Financial Controller and Company Secretary David Hare in addition to Duggan.
