The last two weeks are being very different for me here in Montreal.
Firstl, my father came all the way from Brazil to Montreal to spend a couple of days here with me. Secondly, we started to play at home now, fact that hasn’t happened since the beginning of the season.
It was very good to see at least part of my family the past two weeks. My dad came to Montreal and had the chance to watch us play two games. Unfortunately, I started both of these games on the bench and did not have a chance to get him a goal.
Other than that, his stay here was very good. He was able to see a different way of life that people have here compared to Brazil. He was astonished with the size and beauty of the city.
Also, he had the opportunity to see a different style of soccer that is played here in North America, where the game is much faster than played back home.
We will have four more straight home games now. Our fans are very faithful, packing the stadium in every match. It is great to be able to play here, in front of this crowd that really supports the team.
I am looking forward to our game tomorrow against the Vancouver Whitecaps, and hope to do my best and help the team to get one more win in the season (and also to get a chance to play and score my second goal with the team this season).
That is all for today.
Thank you,
Fred Moojen
