Movin Up with Moojen: Rough Week
Fred spent the week workin on his rolled ankle

It has being a rough week for me.

Since last Tuesday, I rolled my ankle during practice and I have been trying to get it better. I have been doing treatment pretty much every day, which did not allow me to go to Charleston with the team for our last game against the Charleston Battery.
Left alone in Montreal, Fred got a little ambitious with the razor
Fortunately we did well and won that game, which made my feel a little better, regarding the fact that I was here in Montreal “alone” getting treatment on my ankle.

Today, a week after I got injured, I was able to practice for a bit with the team. I felt good during practice and now I am hoping that I will get in the right shape for our next game this coming Saturday in Miami.

Talking a bit about USL-1 soccer, I think it is a very good league with some good players.

I am trying to adapt to the style we have been playing here, and hopefully I will find the best of my soccer that will suit this different way of playing.

As people that know me recognize, I am not the type of a player that loves that much direct soccer, which seems to be the predominant style here in this league. We have a good team with very good players, which comforts me regarding this subject.

Well, that is it for tonight. Bed time here in Montreal,

Sincerely,

Fred Moojen
