One of North America’s greatest soccer television shows, “The Soccer Sam Show”, returns to television beginning April 5 at 12 noon. The half-hour show, hosted by “Soccer Sam” Fantauzzo will air every Saturday afternoon on WRWB-TV, Rochester’s WB 16 (Time Warner Cable Channel 16) during the Rhinos soccer season.
The Soccer Sam Show will feature the Rhinos professional soccer team, including match highlights, Rhino player interviews and “up close and personal” feature stories, kids contests as well as information on the A-League, Major League Soccer and national and international soccer news.
Other features include a coach and player tips segment and other Rochester-area youth, amateur, high school and club soccer highlights and information.
“I am happy that the Rhinos and WB-16 have continued their partnership to help promote our hometown team and soccer in general,” said Soccer Sam. “The show will be an exciting half-hour jam-packed with soccer information for kids and families for all ages.”
