Boston Renegades
10+ Club - Class of 2005

Formed in the W-League’s second season, the Boston Renegades quickly became one of the league’s top organizations, earning the W-League Organization of the Year award in just their second season. The following year, the Renegades joined W-1 when the league split into two levels in 1998. The team forged their reputation as an elite club by reaching the Final in the first year. Despite posting an identical 11-3 record the following season, it was not enough to qualify for the postseason.

In 2000, the Renegades were back on the path to playoff success, claiming Third Place. The following season Boston capped a 9-2-3 season with a 4-0-0 run in the postseason to claim the W-1 Championship. When the two tiers unified back into one league in 2002, the Renegades defended their title in impressive fashion, dropping just one game on the season as they went 11-1-0 in the regular season and swept all four playoff contests, becoming the third team to ever repeat as W-League champions.

The organization behind the Renegades, Mass Premier Soccer, has expanded to include the PDL Cape Cod Crusaders and a large youth program which participates in the Super Y-League.
