USISL, Inc., d.b.a. United Soccer Leagues (USL), is pleased to announce the USL Franchisee Referral Program, which provides existing USL franchisees with the opportunity to earn a Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollar ($2500) cash incentive for each qualified candidate they refer who ultimately enters into one of the various USL franchised leagues in any one of our developing markets.
USL recognizes that our franchisees play an important role in bringing new franchisees to the system. You share your passion for soccer with friends, family, customers, and business associates -- prompting them to inquire about franchising opportunities with us -- and many of you willingly spend time answering questions and providing financial information to franchisee candidates.
We appreciate your efforts on behalf of the various USL leagues, and that’s why we’re pleased to introduce the United Soccer Leagues Franchisee Referral Program. Beginning May 5, 2006, existing franchisees are eligible to receive a $2500 cash incentive for each qualified candidate they refer who meets the guidelines of the program and ultimately purchases a USL franchise with us for any one of our developing markets.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS.
When you have a candidate that you would like to refer simply provide them with the following information:
• Your name
• USL franchise name
• Your complete mailing address
• Your telephone number
• Your email address
Note: Most of this information may all ready be on your business card so you could simply provide them with your card.
Advise candidate to initiate process by visiting www.uslsoccer.com and submit an electronic franchise information request form. When completing the form candidate will be asked how he learned about the opportunity, to be eligible for the program they must select "referred by a USL franchise" and enter the information you provided in Step 1. Step 2 will consist of the completed qualification form being properly submitted to the USL headquarters.
Once this process has been completed, you will receive an email notification. This email will serve as confirmation that Steps 1 and 2 have been completed and that your referral is on record. It is your responsibility to ensure that Steps 1 and 2 are completed. If the referral is qualified, as determined by United Soccer Leagues and ultimately purchases a franchise, you will be awarded a two thousand five hundred dollar ($2500) referral fee within ninety (90) days of the final attestation of the franchise agreement, and upon receipt of the franchise fee payment.
Franchisee Referral Program Terms & Conditions
This program has been formulated and issued at the discretion of United Soccer Leagues for use by its franchisees. It is not intended to supplement or amend any franchise or other agreement and does not create any additional rights in a franchisee or any third party.
Program will commence on May 5, 2006.This program can change or be eliminated by United Soccer Leagues at anytime without notification.
This is a program offered in United Soccer Leagues developing markets throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean; all existing United Soccer Leagues franchisees are eligible to participate. United Soccer Leagues franchisees will receive two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) for each Franchise Agreement signed that meets the guidelines of this program and United Soccer Leagues guidelines for selling Franchises. This program applies only to United Soccer Leagues franchises for the USL First Division, USL Second Division, USL Premier Development League, and the USL W-League. Commissions paid will be subject to taxes and shall require the company’s tax identification number or an individual’s FEIN. United Soccer Leagues will issue a 1099 to any recipient of funds in excess of $600.00.
It is in United Soccer League’s sole discretion whether or not it approves a franchise prospect, and under what terms a candidate may be offered a particular franchising opportunity.
United Soccer Leagues will not pay more than one referral for each franchise developed in accordance with this offer. Should an individual or group be referred by more than one franchisee the referral fee will be awarded to the franchisee with the earliest dated e-mail confirmation receipt.
This incentive program is applicable for new candidates only. It does not apply in a situation where the candidate referred to United Soccer Leagues already is an approved United Soccer Leagues franchisee, or already is in contact with or who has been contacted by United Soccer Leagues. This incentive is not available where the referral is a partnership, corporation, or limited liability company of which one partner, shareholder, or member is an existing United Soccer Leagues franchisee.
The incentive program is applicable for the first United Soccer Leagues Franchise signed by the referred party. Future Franchises signed by the referred party are not eligible. Reassignment of Franchise Agreement related sales (existing franchise rights sold to another entity – same or new territory) do not qualify for this program.
If multiple individuals enter into an agreement collectively with United Soccer Leagues, they are considered one (1) candidate.
Franchise sales are regulated, and this Franchisee Referral Program is not for the purpose of enlisting existing franchisees to help sell franchises. Franchisees are not sales agents of United Soccer Leagues and are not authorized by United Soccer Leagues to qualify United Soccer Leagues franchise candidates or to make statements on behalf of United Soccer Leagues relating to the financial performance or prospects for success in operating United Soccer Leagues branded leagues.
Franchisees are merely referring prospects to us. We take it from there, and go through the qualification process and, if applicable, the sales process.
