Esmond enters his sixth season with USL. Esmond moved from the public relations department in September of 2003 to the Super Y-League.  In January of 2006, he became the director of all day-to-day operations of the Super Y-League.  Aside from the operations of the SYL, Esmond is the competition director of the SYL North American Finals and event manager of the SYL ODP National camps. 

Esmond was named the Employee of the Year in 2005. He is a 2000 graduate of Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Sport Management. 

Esmond has been coaching for ten years and is currently coaching several competitive girls teams with the Tampa Knights Soccer Club.  A native of Sharpsville, Pennsylvania, Esmond currently resides in his home in Tampa, FL.
