Minnick joined USL in the spring of 2006 after having served as an intern with the communications department of D.C. United of Major League Soccer the previous season. 

 

He is a 2005 Mass Communications graduate from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.  Minnick also earned his Associates degree in Journalism in 2002 from Luzerne County Community College in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania.  During his time there Minnick worked as a freelance sports writer for several local newspapers. 

 

He also coached Southern Columbia Area High School’s boys’ soccer team to two consecutive state playoff berths. 

 

Minnick’s focus is on writing feature articles and media releases for each of United Soccer Leagues six leagues, maintaining USL's W-League, PDL, Super-20 and Super Y-League website on USLSoccer.com, designing event programs and annual media guides, assisting in statistics completion and graphic design.
