Armstrong, who joined USL on Monday, February 22, 2010 after three years as a creative designer for the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will work closely with team marketing and communications representatives to provide enhanced support and guidance for all team creative projects including websites, ad campaigns, brochures, etc. She will also develop style guides and templates for team use in operations, marketing and communications, and will assist expansion franchises in brand creation.

“Casey’s addition will allow USL to provide teams with unprecedented creative support from the league level,” Papadakis said. “Her experience level in professional sports will allow us to raise the bar on all of our projects, both at the team and league levels.

“We’re extremely excited with the shape our Team Services Department is taking thanks to the valuable additions we’ve made the past few weeks.”

Armstrong will also work with USL Senior Director of Commercial Development James Ward to manage and design USL print and graphics projects. Prior to joining the Buccaneers Armstrong served as Senior Graphic Designer for Westgate Resorts. A graduate of the University of Central Florida (Graphic Design), Armstrong founded Jet Set Designs in 2003.
