Thompson enters his fourth year with USL and is responsible for all aspects of administration and operations for the USL Professional Divisions.

Prior to joining USL, he was the Director of Program Operations for the Richmond Strikers Soccer Club and was the Tournament Director for the prestigious Jefferson Cup.  Before his stint in Richmond, he spent many successful years coaching at the collegiate and youth competitive level in northern Florida and southern Georgia.

In addition to his coaching experience, he worked as the Director of Ticket Operations and Group Sales for the Tallahassee Scorpions of the Eastern Indoor Soccer League and the Tallahassee Tiger Sharks of the East Coast Hockey League.

Thompson received his Masters Degree in Sports Administration from Florida State University in 1999 as well as his Bachelors Degree in 1996.

Steven resides in Tampa with his wife Cam and daughter Brooke.
