Witkowicz joined the USL staff in early June of 2008 and was named Director, New Media in 2010. A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, the University of Nebraska graduate completed his graduate studies at the University of Miami and St. Gregory the Great Seminary in Seward, Nebraska.

He previously served a three-year stint as the Director of Communications with the American Council of Engineering Companies in Lincoln and had a two-year stop in Miami as a Public Relations Associate with the Miami-Dade County Health Department.

Witkowicz is a member of the American Marketing Association.
