About the USL Men’s Player Showcase presented by UMBRO 
Philosophy
To provide an opportunity for the top Under-23 players to showcase their skills and abilities to professional league teams and coaches.
When and where does the combine take place?
The combine will take place in Charleston, SC. It will run from December 16-18. Details for flight arrangements will be added in the coming weeks.
What are the costs involved for the combine?
The player fee is: $335 - all players
*Participant is responsible for travel to and from Charleston.
How can you participate in the combine?
Anyone is welcome to apply for the combine, but we will only accept a maximum of 90 top-level players in 2007. When you apply you must submit a player resume or bio along with the
application. Please do not send any form of payment with application and bio. Only upon acceptance into the combine, will you submit payment. From the time of your acceptance you will have two weeks to submit payment and flight information in order to solidify your spot in the combine. Although there is a rolling admission process, the deadline to apply is November 9, 2007. You will receive notice of acceptance no later then November 16.
How are you selected for the combine?
Players looking to participate in the combine will be selected based on their playing background, and the merit their soccer achievements. In order to qualify for Under-23 you must be born on or after January 1, 1984, this is the current U23 date that was used for the 2007 PDL season.
Showcase Details:
Players selected to the combine will be placed on teams at random to provide the optimum level of scouting to coaches’ and general managers’. The showcase will kick off on Monday with teams playing full-side matches. Each team will play two matches on Monday and one match on Tuesday.
