USL Race for the Golden Boot

Following a tight regular season race, USL all-time leading scorer Dane Kelly of Reno 1868 FC earned the first USL Golden Boot of his career after finishing as the top scorer in the 2017 regular season.

Kelly recorded a career season with 18 goals in the regular season, as Reno set a USL single-season record with 75 goals in its inaugural campaign. He also became the first player to surpass 50 goals in the USL since the league’s inception in 2011. A selection to the USL All-League Team in 2014, Kelly has recorded 66 goals in the USL Regular Season since 2012, and his performance earned his first selection to the Jamaica National Team in September 2017.
